Project Site Tour
On Wednesday, May 10th, 2023 Heidelberg (previously Cadman) Materials staff and facilitation consultant, Triangle Associates, hosted a site tour at the Gold Bar Quarry at 44716 State Route 2 Gold Bar, WA 98251.
The site tour focused on:
- Sharing details of the current operations and planned expansion of Heidelberg Materials’ sand and gravel mine in Gold Bar with the public and provide opportunities for questions and input.
- Sharing information regarding the planned permit application, including how to stay engaged during this process and submit comments.
Cadman is committed to working closely with the community throughout the duration of this project to provide transparency, and to ensure community concerns and interests are addressed.

Opportunities for the public to be involved or learn more about the project will include:
- Public site tour of the current operation and the location of the proposed hard rock quarry
- Virtual Community Open House
- Frequent communications provided via a Listserv (click here to join the Listserv)
- Group and one on one meetings with landowners, stakeholders, and established forums
